Back-to-School Days
August 11-12, 2026, have been reserved for student check-in. Students and parents are invited to Ridgeline for school pictures, school ID's, reserve lockers, and pay optional yearbook and locker fees. Class fees will be assigned in the first week of school.
Please join us on one of the following days:
- Tuesday, August 11th -- 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Wednesday, August 12th -- 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Monday, August 24th -- 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Our orientation program is designed to help new students get acquainted with Ridgeline High School, meet our counselors and student leaders, learn about school spirit and activities, and navigate their daily schedules before the first day of class.
What will I do during the Orientation?
Students will rotate through four key interactive stations with their assigned groups:

Student Success: Meet your counselor and learn about stress management strategies along with college and career readiness resources.

Getting Involved: Discover ways to get involved with Student Council, dive into school spirit, and hear an explanation of the Riverhawk Academy classes.

School Spirit: Join the RHS Cheerleaders and Athletic Director to learn new cheers, discover how to participate in UHSAA activities, and join in student council activities.

Tour of the School: Take a small-group guided tour of the campus led by Student Council members.
Will I have time to see where my classes are located?
Yes! To help students get comfortable finding their classrooms, they will walk through their actual schedule with 10-minute class periods.
Are Cell Phones allowed during New Student & Freshmen Orientation?
Ridgeline High School enforces a no-cell-phone policy during school hours. We ask all incoming students to keep their phones stowed away during orientation. This gives everyone a chance to be fully present, engage with student leaders, meet new friends, and get comfortable with our phone-free routine from day one!

Yellow: Student Only Parking
Green: Faculty and Visitor Only Parking
Red: Administration and Busing Only Parking
Standard Student Parking Violations & Fines
Fines for standard student parking violations must be applied consistently across all district campuses. Fines scale based on the frequency of the offense to deter repeat violations.
- 1st & 2nd Offenses: $20 per violation
- 3rd & 4th Offenses: $30 per violation
- 5th Offense (and beyond): $50 per violation + Immediate Vehicle Boot
Accessible (Handicap) Parking Enforcement
Handicap parking violations will be tracked and enforced by School Resource Officers (SROs) as a legal infraction. These violations should be kept separate from standard student parking tickets. Treating these infractions as minor campus violations or bundling them with standard fines is strictly prohibited.
