The first-ever Cache Invest Nest Competition was held last month at Utah State University, where local high school students competed for over $11,000 in prize money. The event was a collaboration between the Cache CAPS (Center for Advanced Professional Studies) program, the USU Entrepreneurship Center, and various sponsors involved in bringing the state-wide competition to Cache Valley.

CCSD high school students Evan Winger and Connor Smith threw their hat into the ring of The New York Times' "'Local Lens' Photo Essay Contest." Now, their work, "Stories That Grow in the Absence of People," is featured nationwide!

Pottery, portraits, paintings and more filled the cafeteria of Ridgeline High School Monday night, as each school within the Cache County School District celebrated its students at the CCSD “Visual + Performing Arts Celebration.”

Riverhawk senior Sam Frandsen was Utah’s first recipient of the $40,000 BigFuture Scholarship. Frandsen won the award by engaging in college and career planning through the BigFuture platform and intends to use the funds for medical school!
