Action Plan:
1. Fund ELL Aides to push in to regular classrooms to help ELL Students ($25,000)
2. Fund school support leader to work with at-risk students and assist remediation specialist ($64,000)
3. Provide after-school math tutoring for students ($15,000)
4. Fund bi-monthly leadership team and teaching and learning team meetings and summer department PLC meetings ($40,000)
5. Pay certified teachers to reduce class sizes in Math, English, Science and Social Studies and assist with co-taught classes ($98,004)
6. Fund intervention specialist and aides to work with intensive remediation for failing students in Math, English, and Science classes ($34,000)
7. Fund Parent Liason/Minority Community Outreach Specialist to work with students and family of minority students and at-risk students to increase awareness of grading practices; eligibility for concurrent enrollment, AP Courses, extra-curricular activities; post-high school education options; check grades and provide mentoring/tutoring as needed; and increase communication between school and home ($30,000)
